I Am The Good Shepherd

shepherd3

(John 10; Psalm 23; Isaiah 40; Ezekiel 34)

I am the good shepherd
I am your shepherd
I am one with the Father
I enter the sheep pen by the door
I am the door

You are my sheep, my own sheep
I know you
I call you by name
You hear my voice
You know my voice
You will not follow a stranger
You follow me

I love you
I have compassion for you
I will seek you when you are lost
I will bring you back when you have strayed
I will search for you in every place
I will rescue you from the mouth of the lion
I will save you

I will gather you from afar
I will carry you in my arms
I will hold you close to my chest
I will comfort you with my rod and staff
Even when you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you need not fear any evil
I am with you

I will strengthen you when you are weak
I will bind you up when you are injured
I will wipe away every tear from your eyes
I will make you lie down in green pastures
I will lead you beside still waters
I will anoint your head with oil
I will restore your soul

I will feed you
I will prepare a feast for you, right in front of your enemies
I will guide you to living waters
I will fill your cup to overflowing
You shall not want

For the sake of my name, I will lead you in paths of righteousness
I must bring other sheep into this fold
So there will be one flock, one shepherd
I will gently lead you out
Then I will go before you
No one can snatch you from my hand
I will lay down my life for you
I lay it down of my own accord

I give you eternal life, abundant life
I came for this very purpose
Goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life
You will live with me, in my house, forever
You will know I am the Lord your God
Your Shepherd
